Required Education or Formal Training: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Years of Experience: Prior industry or sales related experience a plus.
Required Certifications or Licenses: Valid driver’s license.
Job Description: Seeking sales professional to join our organization to sell burglar, fire, personal, and video surveillance security systems to homeowners and small-business owners.
Main Responsibilities: Prospect for new customers and develop leads into sales.
Set appointments, travel to customer site for presentations, evaluations and demonstrations.
Prepare documents and submit job proposals.
Complete company agreements and necessary forms.
Monitor job progress; demonstrate operation of security system, including final “walk-through” with customers.
Establish and maintain good relations with new and existing customers.
Obtain referrals from customers, networking, and trade shows.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas.
Required Skills and/or Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to persuade and influence others in order to overcome objections.
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
Basic computer skills including Excel and Word
Prior Experience with SalesForce.com a plus.
Must have high energy and be detail oriented.
Strong prospecting and organizational skills.
Highly motivated by achievement, accomplishment and success.
