Hours per week: Up to 32 hours
Required Education or Formal Training: High school diploma or equivalent
Required Years of Experience: Prior industry related experience helpful, but not required.

Job Description: This is an entry level position as a helper to the technician who is responsible for the installation, testing, repair and inspection of security systems at residential and commercial locations and for ensuring the installation is done in accordance with relevant codes.
Main Responsibilities: The helper assists technicians in the job requirements described above, aiding in the proper installation and testing of burglar, fire, hold up, and emergency signaling systems.
The quality of work is critical; all installations must be professionally installed and completed in a timely manner. Helpers and Technicians are required to report to installation sites at predetermined times.
Develop a complete understanding of the proper technique for installing
Complete all installations as scheduled and coordinated by the Installation Manager
Complete all paperwork associated with the installation of subscribers’ systems
Required Skills and/or Knowledge: Applicant must have common knowledge of construction methods, good reading, writing, and deductive skills, good manual dexterity and organizational skills
Have strong communication skills and good customer service skills
Have the ability to work with minimum supervision
IT, computer and networking knowledge are a real plus
